RIO R50 has a structure in steel tube of the ASFORM type, high quality steel with high mechanical capacity and high resistance to weight load. The processing gives the tube a strongly connoted sign, a letter R, which is identified in the junction area between seat and back. All structural welds are carried out with Mig technology which gives greater resistance to stress and reduces the risk of rust while the steel rod mesh is, for greater precision, electro-welded to the structure. Like all EMU steel products, a pre-treatment of cataphoresis is foreseen and subsequently a painting treatment with thermosetting powder, which gives the product a layer of paint with homogeneous thickness with a high degree of adhesion and resistance. The presence of nylon insoles supports the ease of movement and protection of the ends of the product.
