Shipping and Assembly
Whatever product you have purchased, we want you to have the best service.
Standard Shipping is always at street level. It is possible to have goods delivered to any address by specifying full details when ordering.
In addition, it is possible to request a surcharge:
- delivery to the floor
As a rule, shipments take place when all goods are ready, but if you have different requirements, you can specify your preferences in the order notes or contact our customer service (by e-mail or phone): we will do everything to meet your needs.
Standard Shipping is free of charge in Europe, (except for products made of glass or considered fragile and for the following areas: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Cyprus, Andorra and smaller islands or other areas considered difficult to reach) on purchases from 100 €.
Delivery times vary depending on: size of products purchased, stock availability and purchase period.
The indicated waiting days exclude public holidays and any long weekends. For products that are not in stock, the days between 1 and 27 August are excluded from the calculation of the waiting time. For products that are in stock, shipments take place regularly with the exception of holidays and the month of August due to company closure.
For floor delivery and assembly, our employees will take care of everything. From assembling the parts to collecting the packaging and cartons of your purchases. The service is available throughout Italy.
Electrical and water connections are excluded from the service.
Shipments by Sea
For certain destinations and in the case of bulky items, shipment by sea is also provided. Delivery times vary depending on the destination from 2 to 5 weeks. The cost is available for many products already in the checkout or upon request to our customer service by sending an e-mail to Bart@bartolomeoarreda.it.
Collection for export
You can pick up the products at our warehouse, even if the final destination of the goods is outside the European Union. In this case, the invoice will not include Italian VAT and the responsibility for the export declaration will fall entirely on the buyer. Bartolomeo will only accept couriers specialising in non-EU shipments, thus refusing collection by private or domestic couriers. Our Customer Service may contact the courier appointed by the purchaser to check the actual final destination and may suspend the order until the customer pays the VAT, which will be re-credited upon receipt of the export documents.
